Derby County Under-21s goalkeeper Sam Kane has joined Southern League Premier Division Central side Worcester City on a month-long loan.

The Scottish shot-stopper will head to Sixways Stadium for City’s next four league matches, starting with Saturday’s home clash against Banbury United.
Kane will be looking to strengthen Worcester’s promotion push, with Chris Cornes’ team currently sitting two points and two places outside of the play-off positions.
The 19-year-old joined the Rams’ Academy in October after departing Scottish Championship side Queen’s Park. He has made six appearances for Danny Maye’s side since, featuring on three occasions in both Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup.
Kane holds previous first team experience from his time at Stranraer during the second half of the 2024/25 season, making eight league appearances in Scottish League Two.
