Derby County defender Ryan Nyambe has joined Sky Bet League One side Reading on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old will spend the rest of the 2025/26 campaign at the Select Car Leasing Stadium - once again linking up with Leam Richardson, who he played under at Wigan Athletic during the 2022/23 season.
Nyambe has made 47 appearances for the Rams since his arrival at Pride Park Stadium in September 2023, including 21 in Derby’s promotion-winning campaign that term.
He added a further 19 across league and cup upon Derby’s return to the Sky Bet Championship in 2024/25, before knee and hamstring injuries curtailed his campaign, while the Namibian international has featured on seven occasions so far this year.
The versatile defender will have the opportunity to make his debut for The Royals when Reading host Barnsley in League One on Saturday.
