Derby County Community Trust is pleased to announce the commencement of its delivery of the King’s Trust Team Programme.

A nationally recognised initiative, the programme is designed to support young people in developing essential skills, confidence, and pathways into education, employment, or training.
As an approved delivery partner, Derby County Community Trustwill be offering the 12-week programme to young people aged 16–25 across Derby and Derbyshire with the aim of providing structured personal development opportunities and meaningful community engagement. The provision will be delivered alongside and supported by education partner, the University of Derby - Buxton.
The King’s Trust Team Programme is a long-established initiative that combines practical learning, teamwork, community projects, and work placements. Participants gain valuable experience, enhance their employability, and build the confidence required to take positive steps toward their future goals.

The first cohort will commence on Tuesday 5th May2026, and referrals are now being accepted from partner organisations, education providers, and members of the public.
