2026/27 KITS: Home Kit Behind The Scenes

This year’s home kit was shot at the University of Derby’s Markeaton Street campus, which welcomed six groups of Derby County delegates across two days to capture this campaign’s ‘Black and White’ shoot.

The photography studio at the University of Derby boasts outstanding facilities, including a dedicated infinity wall space, which was used to capture this season’s kit imagery, allowing for a clean, white background throughout.

Men’s First Team players Lewis Travis, Carlton Morris and Max Johnston were the first to visit the site to take part in their section of the shoot, followed by Academy Under-21s players Johnson Osong, Tristan Gill and Isaac Gordon; former Rams Curtis Davies and Bradley Johnson; Women’s First Team players Mia Wheeler and Marnie Drake; Community Trust participants Will Marshall, Julie Stead and Mick Henman; and Young Rams members Eva Pamon and Teddy Wright.

Derby County share a long-standing partnership with the University of Derby, supporting students from across their courses each year to gain valuable experience.
