Derby County Academy prospect Euan Griffiths has signed his first professional deal with the club.

The 17-year-old has secured his future with the Rams after impressing for the Under-18s throughout 2025/26. A Stockport native, Griffiths joined the Rams from Manchester City's Academy as an Under-17.
Starting out as a goalkeeper in his youth days with a local side in Manchester, Griffiths first moved outfield at the grassroots level with Manchester Corinthians before joining Manchester City after a successful trial with the Premier League club.
Since joining Derby, he has made 19 outings in the U18 Premier League – North, as well as featuring in the FA Youth Cup and with the Under-21s squad in Premier League 2.
Talking about his feelings after penning his professional deal to RamsTV, Griffiths said: “It's just happiness, to be honest.
“It's just hard to feel anything else when you've been working towards it for so long. And then that hard work finally pays off - a bit of pride comes with it.”
