Derby County’s starting XI for this afternoon’s friendly against SC Freiburg (3pm BST kick-off) has been confirmed.
John Eustace has named an unchanged XI from the side that started at Alfreton Town last Friday, as his team take on last season’s UEFA Europa League runners-up.
It means the likes of Bobby Clark and Joe Ward, who both scored at the Solana Stadium a week ago, are both in from the off, while Ryan Hedges continues as a trialist having trained with the group throughout the week in Austria.
New signing Charlie Taylor is added to the matchday squad, as is Ryan Nyambe, while some of Derby’s brightest prospects, including Owen Eames and Cruz Allen, feature on the bench.
Filip Bilbija, Sondre Langås and Jacob Widell Zetterström have all trained with the Rams in recent days but will watch from the stands this afternoon.

The Rams will face a 120-minute-long contest split into four 30-minute periods against the Bundesliga outfit.
The fixture at Velly Arena is set to conclude another positive week of pre-season work for Derby, as they continue to build towards the 2026/27 Sky Bet Championship season, which gets underway at Charlton Athletic on Saturday 15th August.
