Before You Arrive

Can I bring a Personal Assistant/Essential Companion?

Yes. A complimentary ticket is available for a Personal Assistant attending with a disabled supporter, in accordance with your club’s policies and eligibility.

Is there parking available for away supporters with a Blue Badge?

Yes. Designated onsite parking spaces are available for away supporters with a Blue Badge. These spaces are approximately a 2–3-minute walk from the away section of the stadium.

How do I book a Blue Badge parking space?

To book a space, please contact your club,once tickets go on sale. Spaces are subject to availability.

What are the standard parking options for away supporters?

  • Away supporters are advised to park at the Conference Centre on London Road, Derby (DE24 8UX).
  • This is not an official Derby County car park, but it is a convenient and frequently used option.
  • It is approximately a 10–15-minute walk to the away section of the stadium.
  • While many supporters use this location without issue, please note that Derby County is not responsible for vehicles or belongings left at third-party parking sites.

Are ear defenders available?

Yes. You can reserve a pair in advance by calling the Accessibility Team on 01332 667528 (subject to availability).

Is Audio Descriptive Commentary available?

Yes. Reserve a receiver at least 24 hours before kick-off by calling 01332 667528 or email [email protected] (please include full name, contact number and seat details). You must bring your own round jack earphones.

How do I walk from Derby Train Station to Pride Park Stadium?

  • Pride Park Stadium is a 10–15-minute walk from Derby Train Station:
  • Exit the station via the main entrance.
  • Turn right onto Roundhouse Road.
  • At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Pride Parkway (A6).
  • At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Derwent Parade.
  • At the following roundabout, take the third exit onto Royal Way.
  • Continue straight to arrive at Pride Park Stadium.

This route is wheelchair accessible with level footpaths and crossings.

Are there matchday traffic restrictions?

Yes. A traffic exclusion zone is in effect 90 minutes before kick-off and up to 60 minutes after full-time on Derwent Parade and Royal Way, depending on crowd movement.

When do turnstiles open on matchday at Pride Park Stadium?

Turnstiles open approximately 90 minutes before kick-off.

Is there transport available around the stadium?

Yes. A free shuttle buggy service operates around onsite car parks (excluding Car Park B), the Away Coach Park, and around the stadium perimeter. It runs up to kick-off and resumes after the final whistle but may pause temporarily due to congestion.

Where is the away coach park located?

The away coach park is located opposite the south-east corner of the stadium.

How far is it to walk from the away coach park to the away section seating area (south-east corner)?

It is approximately a 2 - 3-minute walk

I have arranged to collect my tickets at Pride Park Stadium, where do I go?

The Away Ticket Office is located at the southeast corner of the stadium.

When does the Away Ticket Office open?

Our Away Ticket Office opens 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off.

Which turnstiles do away supporters use?

Away supporters enter the stadium through turnstiles 43-48. The specific turnstile you should use depends on where your seat is located.

Which entrance should I use for accessible access?

For those supporters unable to use a turnstile, please enter via Gate S or T (South-East corner). It’s step free, and stewards are available to assist if needed.

Are accessible toilets available?

Yes. Accessible toilets are located within the away section. They operate using a Radar key. Please bring your own or ask a steward if you need assistance.

Where is the away section seating located?

The away section seating is located in the south-east corner of the stadium.

What accessible seating is available?

  • Accessible seating is available via Gate S (accessible entrance) or standard turnstiles and includes:
  • Easy Access Seating (Row BB - front row - 1 step), Row CC (2 steps), Row DD (3 steps)
  • Wheelchair Platform (undercover) & Wheelchair Pitch side spaces are available within the away section.

Please notify your club when purchasing tickets to ensure correct seating. Locations may vary for some fixtures.

Can I sit elsewhere in the stadium with my PA if I don’t need accessible seating?

Yes. If you do not require accessible seating, you may sit anywhere with your PA (subject to away club approval), provided you can safely access the area.

Where are the First Aid Rooms at Pride Park Stadium?

First aid rooms are in the southwest and northwest corners of the stadium. If you need assistance, please speak to the nearest steward.

Will stewards be available to help?

Yes, stewards are available throughout the stadium to assist supporters, as needed.

What should I know about crowds and sensory-friendly tips?

  • Quieter entry times: 90–60 mins before kick-off or just before kick-off
  • Busiest entry period: 45–15 minutes before kick-off
  • Quiet times for kiosks/toilets: First 30 minutes of each half
  • Quiet exit option: Remain seated for 10–15 minutes post-match
  • Need a break? Concourse areas are quieter during the first 30 mins of each half
