Striker Charles Ebuka Agbawodikeizu joined Derby County’s Under-18s in the summer of 2024 on a two-year scholarship.

Agbawodikeizu was late into the Academy system having previously been playing at grassroots level prior to a short period with West Ham United.

He impressed during a trial spell with the Rams, prompting him to be offered a permanent contract.

He scored 15 goals in 14 Under-18 Premier League North appearances in the 2024/25 season, which saw him also feature for the Under-21s on a handful of occasions and also take his place on the substitutes’ bench for the first-team.
