Defender Eve Shepherd became a full-time member of the Derby County Women’s First Team ahead of the 2025/26 season.

She joined up with the senior squad after graduating from the Derby County Community Trust’s Female Talent Pathway (FTP) – the club’s women’s youth set-up.

Shepherd had been a pivotal part of the FTP’s Under-18s and then Under-21s teams over recent seasons and was a part of the Under-21s side that lifted the FA Women’s National League Reserve Cup in 2024/25.

The defender gained her first senior team experience in the 2023/24 campaign, including making appearances in the FA Women’s National League Plate, as the Ewes went on to win the competition that season.
