Midfielder Jack Bates joined Derby County’s Under-21s squad in the summer of 2022.
Bates joined Derby from non-league side Hastings United after impressing during a trial spell in the 2021/22 campaign.
The central midfielder also represented the England College National Team during his time with Hastings, as well as appearing for their first team in the Isthmian South-East Division.
Prior to playing in non-league football, Bates was on the books of Brighton & Hove Albion.
