Derby County will conclude their pre-season games programme ahead of the start of the 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season when they head to local non-league side Alfreton Town on Tuesday night (7:45pm kick-off).

Team News

Derby are set to give run-outs to those players that didn’t start in Saturday’s 3-1 friendly defeat against Premier League side Leicester City at Pride Park Stadium. That means players such as Scott Loach, Richard Stearman, Liam Thompson, Louie Sibley and Eiran Cashin are likely to come into thestarting line-up.

Striker David McGoldrick has sat out Derby's last two friendlies with a minor niggle and he is continuing to have treatment with the medical staff before returning to the fold.

Krystian Bielik has not featured in Derby's friendlies so far as a result of sitting out the start of pre-season training whilst recovering from a minor knee problem sustained whilst on international duty with Poland in June. The midfielder is gradually being eased back into training with no thought placed on rushing him back into action.
