Galinski Heads To Corby

Young defender joins Conference North side on loan.

Former Rams youth team captain Stefan Galinski has joined Conference North side Corby Town on a one month loan deal.
The 19-year-old central defender is a first-year professional after signing a full time contract with the Rams earlier this year.
In 2011-12 he formed a promising partnership with Josh Lelan in central defence and having showed significant signs of progress during his time in the Academy he was subsequently handed a professional deal. Galinski featured for the Rams’ first-team in the side’s opening pre-season fixture of the 2012/13 campaign – a 2-1 defeat at Mansfield Town. The central defender has been capped at youth level for Poland and will be in contention for a starting spot in Corby’s trip to Workington on Saturday.
