Defender re-joins Derby after three months on loan at Bradford City.
Derby County defender Tom Naylor has today re-joined the Rams after completing a three-month loan spell at League 2 outfit Bradford City.
21-year-old Naylor joined Phil Parkinson’s men back in November and he went on to make seven appearances in all competitions for the Capital One Cup Finalists.
He was named in the starting XI for his final game for the Bantams at the weekend, but he was unable to help them avoid a 1-0 home defeat to promotion-chasing Gillingham.
He is due to appear for Derby’s Under 21s away to Crewe this afternoon and owing to a central defensive injury crisis, he could be drafted straight into the Rams’ squad for tomorrow’s npower Championship clash at Hull City.
Naylor, whose only appearance for Derby this season came as a substitute in the Capital One Cup against Scunthorpe United, Naylor joined the Rams in November 2011 from Mansfield Town, initially on loan, before sealing a permanent move to Pride Park during the January transfer window and he went on to make nine first-team appearances last term.
