Goalkeeper moves out on loan to gain first-team experience.
Derby County U21s goalkeeper Ross Etheridge has joined non-league Gresley FC on loan for a month.
The 18-year-old shot-stopper, who signed professional forms in the summer after two-years as a scholar in Derby’s Academy, is set to make his debut against Newcastle Town this evening.
Gresley compete in the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South Table and lost their opening game of the season 3-1 to Mickleover Sports on Saturday.
Etheridge is the second goalkeeper to move out on loan from Pride Park during the last week, after fellow Academy product Mats Morch moved to League 2 Burton Albion last Saturday.
