Tickets sold out in record time - only 54 minutes after going on General Sale!
Derby County’s allocation of tickets for next Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final against Queens Park Rangers have SOLD OUT.
The Rams were handed an allocation of 37,249 for the game at Wembley Stadium by the Football League, on Saturday 24th May 2014 (3pm).
Some 20,000 seats were snapped up during Period 1 of sales, which was for Current Full & Half 2013/14 Season Ticket Holders, new 2014/15 Season Tickets Holders, Home Members (including Rams Squad) and 6 & 12 Package Customers, over the course of four days.
Supporters that qualified for that period of sale were guaranteed a seat as long as they purchased before the start of the General Sale period.
Around 17,000 tickets were made available for General Sale, which began at 9am this morning.
Within 54 minutes, all 17,000 tickets were snapped up to make the Rams’ allocation a complete sell-out with demand proving to be exceptionally high for the big game both online on the SEE Tickets website and over the phone.
Derby County’s Chief Operating Officer John Vicars, tweeted: “Sold Out in 54 minutes the quickest on sale in @dcfcofficial history big thanks to @seetickets and Brandon Furse and his @DCFCtickets team.”
As a result of the sell-out, supporters without a ticket for the Play-Off Final are advised not to travel to Wembley as they will be unable to gain access to the stadium.
The Roadrider, Derby's official coach travel to Wembley Stadium, has also sold out with 60 coaches due to leave the iPro Stadium next Saturday morning.
