Rams confirm opposition for their second pre-season match in Austria.

Derby County will face Bosnia & Herzegovina side Slavija Sarajevo as part of their six-day training camp in Austria between 20th and 26th July.

This summer, Steve McClaren’s squad will travel to Burgenland, Austria, for a training camp and the trip will include two pre-season friendly matches.

The first game will see the Rams face Russian outfit Zenit St Petersburg on Tuesday 22nd July, which was confirmed last month, followed by the clash with Slavija Sarajevo on Friday 25th July.

Zenit, managed by former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur boss André Villas-Boas, finished 2013/14 campaign as runners up in the Russian Premier League and reached the final round of 16 in the Champions League, before being knocked out by Borussia Dortmund.

Their squad includes Brazilian international forward Hulk, who finished the 2013/14 campaign as the club’s leading scorer with 17 goals, Belgium international midfielder Axel Witsel as well as former Arsenal player and Russian international, Andrey Arshavin.

Slavija finished 13th in the Premijer Liga BiH, which is the top flight in Bosnia & Herzegovina, during the 2013/14 season and were the 2008/09 winners of the Bosnia & Herzegovina Football Cup.

The Zenit game will be played at SC Kalsdorf's Stadium, Sports Zentrum Kalsdorf, kick-off 6:00pm (5:00pm BST).

The venue and kick-off time is still to be confirmed for the Slavija game, but it is expected to be played close to Derby’s training base.
