Young defender completes one-month loan deal to Football League newcomers and is in line to make his debut against Luton Town
Derby County defender Tom Naylor has joined Sky Bet League 2 side Cambridge United on a month’s loan.
Naylor, 23, has completed the paperwork to join the Football League newcomers on a temporary basis.
He could make his debut in this weekend’s game at home to Luton Town.
Naylor joined the Rams in November 2011 from then-Conference side Mansfield Town, initially on loan, before sealing a permanent move to iPro Stadium during the January 2012 transfer window and he has made 10 appearances at first-team level.
He has spent time on loan at Bradford City, Grimsby Town and Newport County in the last two seasons.
