Derby County goalkeeper Ross Etheridge has joined Vanarama Conference North side Stalybridge Celtic on a one-month youth loan.

The 20-year-old shot-stopper, who is part of Derby’s Under 21 squad under the guidance of Lee Glover, has had two other loan spells so far this season at Crewe Alexandra and Leek Town.

The latter proved to be hugely successful as he made 12 appearances and helped the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League promotion chasers to nine victories.

Etheridge, who was a scholar in the Rams’ Academy before penning professional terms, has spent time on loan at Ilkeston FC and Gresley FC during the last year.
