Youngsters Isak Ssewankambo and Jonathan Mitchell have been handed squad numbers for Derby County’s upcoming 2015/16 season.

The duo have been regular faces in Derby’s first-team squad throughout the side’s pre-season preparations for the new campaign under new Head Coach Paul Clement.

Sweden Under 21 international full-back Ssewankambo, who has come off the bench in all five of Derby’s first-team friendly games so far but is yet to make a competitive appearance for the club, has been given number 30.

The 19-year-old joined Derby from Dutch side NAC Breda in January of this year and featured regularly for the Rams' Under 21 side towards the end of last season.

Goalkeeper Mitchell has also been on the bench throughout pre-season, acting as understudy to fellow custodians Lee Grant and Scott Carson, and has been allocated number 35.

Mitchell, who is 20, has been an unused substitute on a handful of occasions for the first-team since joining from Newcastle United last summer.

It was confirmed earlier this week that new signing Jason Shackell will wear number 14, after becoming Derby’s seventh summer signing towards the end of July.
