Scott Carson Wins Supporters’ Club Player Of The Year Award

Scott Carson named as the Derby County Supporters' Club Player of the Year for the 2016/17 season on Tuesday night.

The goalkeeper picked up the award in the Pedigree Suite at Pride Park Stadium, as part of the Supporters’ Club's Annual End of Season Dinner.

Derby’s entire first-team squad, along with management staff, were in attendance and helped hand out a series of Supporters' Club awards for the campaign.

Chairman Mel Morris and the Rams’ executive team also attended the event.

Each branch of the Supporters' Club cast their vote on who they regarded as Derby's star man this season, with Carson running out as the winner.

Carson, who is 31, has made 48 appearances in all competitions for Derby this season and was presented with the award by Club Ambassadors Roy McFarland and Roger Davies.
