Derby County and Umbro have today revealed the Rams’ new away kit for the forthcoming 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship season.
The new-season’s collection is part of the ongoing partnership and fourth successive set of bespoke performance kits created for the club by Umbro.
The away kit reveal follows on from the recent launch of the already-popular new home strip earlier this month, adorned with the logo of Derby’s new official shirt sponsor, Avon Tyres, showcasing all-new features and an updated design.
The away kit is a bright contrast to the traditional home shirt. With a stand-out safety yellow colour for the shirt, contrasted with royal blue shoulder and sleeve panels, it is bound to catch the eye of opposing players and fans!
The sleeves see a more modern take on the Umbro taping story which comes through strongly on the home strip, with a much thinner running diamond and different application.
The kit is constructed with great fit and bold styling at the heart of the design. Elongated articulated panels provide freedom of movement, with stylised hem and club specific stitching details completing the look.
The royal blue away shorts split the vibrant yellow colour and are tailored for maximum comfort and movement, featuring a modern take on the knitted diamonds to match the sleeves of the shirt.

Summer signing Andre Wisdom has offered his take on the new kit and said: “I love the colour, it’s very bright and bold. I like to see that in new kits.
“I’m sure the supporters will really take to this and I know the lads in the dressing room are already excited to turn out in such a stand-out kit. It also feels comfortable and I feel like it will perform well, which is what we want as players.”
Derby’s new away kit is on sale from Friday 11th August and is available for adults, juniors, infants and babies.

The away kit will be worn for the first time in tonight’s pre-season friendly matches at both Doncaster Rovers and Port Vale. Supporters can watch the new kit in action on RamsTV – with the Port Vale match being streamed live, alongside all the key moments and updates from Doncaster.
A third kit has also been created for the upcoming campaign and will follow in the coming months.
