Rams’ Hoffenheim Line-Up Confirmed

Gary Rowett has confirmed his starting XI for today’s final pre-season friendly fixture against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim at Pride Park Stadium, kick-off: 3pm.

Today’s matchday squad is as follows:

Derby County: Carson, Wisdom, Keogh, Davies, Forsyth; Huddlestone, Butterfield, Johnson; Russell, Weimann, Martin

Substitutes: Mitchell, Roos, Bryson, Anya, Pearce, Bennett, Blackman, Vydra, Hanson, Nugent, Olsson

All three of the Rams’ new signings star in the starting line-up this afternoon.

Notably, Rowett, the Derby manager, has welcomed back Nick Blackman and Matěj Vydra to the fold following their respective injuries.

Chris Baird is the only fresh absentee this afternoon. The former Northern Ireland international full-back misses out through illness.

He joins George Thorne, Jason Shackell and Max Lowe as the only Derby players missing today’s meeting with UEFA Champions League bound Hoffenheim.
