Derby County’s squad has been confirmed for this evening’s pre-season friendly away to Sky Bet League 1 side Northampton Town (7:45pm kick-off).

Manager Gary Rowett will take a 20-man squad to Sixfields Stadium in what will be Derby’s penultimate pre-season game ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Curtis Davies is the only addition to the squad from Saturday’s 2-0 win away to 2. Bundesliga side FC Kaiserslautern, having missed the trip to Germany for personal reasons.

Rowett could shuffle his pack against Justin Edinburgh’s side and give more minutes to some of the players that didn’t start at the Fritz-Walter Stadion at the weekend.

Squad for Northampton Town: Carson, Mitchell, Baird, Wisdom, Keogh, Pearce, Forsyth, Davies, Olsson, Butterfield, Bryson, Johnson, Huddlestone, Hanson, Anya, Bennett, Weimann, Nugent, Martin, Russell.

Striker Darren Bent is out of action until around Christmas time with a hamstring injury while George Thorne, Jason Shackell, Max Lowe, Nick Blackman and Matej Vydra remain unavailable.

Supporters will be able to watch the entire game against the Cobblers for free on RamsTV this evening via a live stream right here on dcfc.co.uk.
