Derby County and Umbro have revealed the Rams’ new third kit for the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship season.
The collection of kits is part of the ongoing partnership and fourth successive set of bespoke performance garments created for the Rams by Umbro, showcasing all-new features and an updated design across playing, training and staff wear.
Derby’s home and away kits for the current campaign were revealed earlier this summer and have proved to be popular with supporters.
The third kit design has a strong and energetic front graphic which stands out along with bold Pink Glow taping on key areas of the garment which sees a modern take on the classic Umbro taping which is so prominent on the new home shirt.
The reverse of the shirt features the ‘THE RAMS’ sign off on the back of the neck, which gives instant acknowledgement of the players and fans association with the club.
The kit is constructed with great fit and bold styling at the heart of the design. Elongated articulated panels provide freedom of movement, with stylised hem and club specific stitching details completing the look.
The Black shorts are tailored for maximum comfort and movement, featuring contrasted Pink Glow running diamonds to match the sleeves of the jersey.
Double welt socks in Black feature the Pink band and are adorned with the double diamond to complete a kit that matches the modern-day footballers’ high levels of performance on the pitch.
Commenting on the third kit, midfielder Tom Huddlestone said: “This is a great stand-out kit and something unique, which I have never seen before.
“The graphic on the front is really bold and the subtle bits of Pink match really well with the darkness of the kit. I know the lads are excited to wear this kit and we look forward to seeing the supporters wearing it in the stands too!”
Derby’s new third kit is on sale from 9am on Friday 8th September and is available in adult and junior sizes only.
