Chris Martin and Ikechi Anya have been named in the Scotland squad for their crucial final round of FIFA 2018 World Cup fixtures ahead of the latest international break.

The Tartan Army take on Slovakia (Thursday 5th October) and Slovenia (Saturday 7th October) in their final Group F fixtures and know if they win both games, they will secure a play-off position to reach the World Cup Finals in Russia next summer.

Martin, 28, featured as a substitute in both of Scotland’s last two games – coming on as a second half substitute to help Gordon Strachan’s side defeat Lithuania (0-3) and Malta (2-0)

Anya, the wideman, was an unused substitute and will be looking to force his way back into the squad to build on the 27 caps he has already earned.

The Derby duo will meet up with the Scotland on Sunday 1st October.
