Joe Ledley and Tom Lawrence have been included in Ryan Giggs’ first Wales squad for the 2018 China Cup, whilst Alex Babos will join up with the Under-21 squad.

The Dragons will travel to the Far East for the second edition of the competition that was first contested in January 2017.

Ledley and Lawrence will face the hosts China in the semi-final with a place in the final against either Uruguay or Czech Republic at stake, whilst the nations beaten in the last-four will go into a third-place play-off.

Lawrence has been in great form for his country of late; scoring twice in his last four games against Georgia and Panama.

Babos has impressed with Darren Wassall’s Under-23s and he’s captained the side for the majority of this season.

The attacking midfielder will be aiming to make his international debut when Rob Page’s side face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier.
