Whittaker Strike Up For LFE Goal Of The Month

Derby County’s Under-18s forward Morgan Whittaker has seen his strike against Blackburn Rovers nominated for the LFE (League Football Education) Goal of the Month for February and March.

The Rams’ first-year scholar controlled a short pass just outside the box before crafting a precise hit that struck the top-left corner, giving the Blackburn keeper no chance of a save.

The nominated goal was the game-winner that helped Justin Walker and Rory Delap’s side claim a 3-2 victory at the Training Centre in Partnership with the University of Derby.
