Derby County would like to thank fans for their support during the 2017/18 season.

It's been confirmed by analysis compiled by the EFL that the Rams' seasonal attendance was once again one of the best outside of the top-flight.

An average attendance of 27,175 ranks the Rams fifth out of the 72 EFL Clubs outside the Premier League for seasonal attendances, with Aston Villa topping the list.

Over the 23 home games, Pride Park welcomed 625,034 through the turnstiles.

When East Midlands rival Nottingham Forest made the short trip on the A52, 31,196 fans saw Derby lift the Brian Clough Trophy after the teams’ 100th domestic meeting ended 2-0.

The final league game of the season against Barnsley saw the second-best attendance of the season with 30,682 while 30,294 came to watch the rearranged fixture with Cardiff City the week before.

The Rams are set to enjoy another season with great support on home turf with more than 18,000 supporters securing their seats by the end of the first period of Season Ticket sales.

The second stage of sales is currently open and will run until the end of the 2017/18 season.
