Derby County are saddened to hear of the passing of former YTS graduate Justin Phillips at the age of 46.
Derby-born, the former centre back made three first team appearances for the club during the 1990/91 season and scored one goal – against Southampton in an emphatic 6-2 win at the Baseball Ground.
Phillips, who also had a loan spell at Cork City in 1993, was a regular in the England school teams and also won an England youth cap.
The club will be flying its flags outside the main entrance at Pride Park Stadium at half-mast.
