Frank Lampard makes one change to the starting XI that claimed the first home victory of the season against Ipswich Town on Tuesday night.

Joe Ledley, who scored the Rams’ first goal in the 2-0 win after coming off the bench, will replace George Evans in the starting line-up against Preston North End.

Evans was forced to leave the game on Tuesday after suffering a knee injury and is set to miss four to six weeks.

Bradley Johnson has been named as a substitute in place of Ledley and is the only change to the bench.

Tom Huddlestone and Scott Malone were said to be in contention earlier this week, but the pair will wait to make their return from injury.

Curtis Davies remains out of action with a hamstring injury, as does Harry Wilson who is recovering from a minor muscle issue.
