Lampard And Malone Recognised In EFL Team Of The Week

Frank Lampard has again received recognition this week as he has been named as the EFL Manager of the Week following the 1-4 victory at the Hawthorns against West Bromwich Albion.

The Derby boss saw his side put in a superb display against their fellow promotion-contenders as goals from Jack Marriott, Tom Lawrence, Harry Wilson and Scott Malone secured victory which moved the Rams two points behind leaders Leeds United.

Malone has also been recognised for his efforts and has been named in the EFL Team of the Week. The defender was the hero in both boxes on Wednesday night as he blocked a goal-bound shot which would have made the score 1-3, however, a minute later, he scored to make it 0-4.

That was the defender’s first goal for the football club and his performance has earned him a place in the team.
