Derby County’s Jacob Butterfield has joined Sky Bet League One side Bradford City.

The midfielder has linked up with the Bantams in a loan deal which will run for the remainder of the campaign.

Butterfield could make his debut for Bradford, who sit 21st in the table, in their away fixture at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Rams from Huddersfield Town in August 2015, spent the majority of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

Butterfield, who hasn’t featured for the first-team this term under Frank Lampard, has made 89 appearances for Derby in total and scored nine times in all competitions.
