Derby County Under-18s will face Sheffield United in the Fourth Round of the FA Youth Cup at Pride Park Stadium tonight - and admission is FREE!


Justin Walker’s side reached the next stage of the competition following a 2-1 win against Blackpool in the Third Round, and will face the Blades on Tuesday 15th January, kick-off: 7pm.

Goals from Kornell McDonald and Connor Dixon secured the victory for the Under-18s at Bloomfield Road, whilst ‘keeper Bradley Foster-Theniger kept out a late penalty as the hosts fought for a way back into the game.

The Young Rams will play at Pride Park for the first time since they faced Manchester United in the Third Round of the same competition last season.

On that occasion, Derby prevailed on a memorable night in the snow as their won 3-1 on penalties after a 2-2 draw after extra time.

The Derby side that night featured Jayden Bogle - who has since become a first team regular - as well as Max Bird and Jason Knight, who have been around the first time on a consistent basis this term.
