U23s Fixture Against Chelsea Moved To Training Ground

Derby County Under-23s will return the Premier League 2 Division 1 action on Monday night when they face Chelsea at the Training Centre in partnership with University of Derby, kick-off 7pm.

The fixture was due to take place at Loughborough University Stadium but due to a waterlogged pitch it has now been moved to the Training Centre.

It has been two weeks since Daren Wassall’s side were last in action when they defeated Plymouth Argyle 4-0 in the Premier League Cup.

The Rams currently sit fourth in the league, two points behind leaders Everton while Chelsea are five points behind Derby in sixth.

The Rams picked up their first win of the season in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge and retained an unbeaten start to the 2018/19 campaign when Chris Martin expertly fired in the only goal of the game.
