WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…

“We need a reaction now,” Lampard told RamsTV. “If we work hard and believe in ourselves in what we have got here then we will turn that corner.

“This is the first real question we have been asked so it’s up to the players now to show against Wigan that we have pride and determination in us. A hard-fought win against a difficult Wigan team can change it, of course it can.

We need to produce on the pitch and the players know that.

“We do want to look upwards and we’ve managed to stay in contention for a big part of the season so now it’s the critical time and the test.”

Wilson almost doubled the Rams’ lead however his shot was cleared off the line by Nathan Byrne, while Josh Windass had an effort ruled offside which would have levelled the score for the home side.
