Derby County Under-18s’ midfielder Jason Knight has been nominated for LFE’s Goal of the Month for February for his strike against Middlesbrough.
The second-year year scholar sealed all three points for the Rams with his late strike in a 2-0 victory over Boro last month. He ran on to a loose ball on the edge of the box and rifled his low effort into the bottom right corner.
It is the second time the Republic of Ireland youth international has been up for the award receiving a nomination in December 2017.
He is one of eight apprentices from across the Academy leagues to be nominated. You can vote online or on Twitter using the hashtag #LFEGOALG for Knight’s goal. Voting will remain open until noon on 14th March.
