Derby County return to Pride Park Stadium on Saturday to take on Bolton Wanderers, kick-off: 3pm.

Frank Lampard’s side have six games remaining to fight their way into the play-off places and will look to return to their winning ways against the Trotters. Here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the clash with Phil Parkinson’s side.

TEAM NEWS…

Scott Malone will not be available for selection on Saturday as he continues to recover from a rib injury he sustained against Brentford.

There are no new injury concerns for Lampard and Martyn Waghorn is fit after leaving the last two games early.

WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…

Speaking to RamsTV, Lampard said: “We have a big game coming up at the weekend and if we win we will be three points off the play-offs, no matter what happens elsewhere.

“We have to concentrate on what we can do, and I know what this squad can do, and I am very positive going into the weekend.

“Bolton are in a tough position and lets no shy away from it, it is a game that we really, really want to win.

“There have been some really good performances at Pride Park. Rotherham is still fresh in our minds and we played very well there. If we play like that we will beat most teams in this league, so we know what we need to do.”

As ever, The Ram will be jam-packed with news and features and retails at just £3 from around Pride Park Stadium.

THE LAST MEETING…

Bolton Wanderes 1-0 Derby County

Saturday 29th September 2018

Despite controlling 74 percent of possession, Derby County fell to defeat at the University of Bolton Stadium in the reverse fixture.

The only goal of the game came in the 10th minute when Craig Noone met Will Buckley’s cross at the far post.

Scott Carson kept the Rams within striking distance with a great save to deny Buckley’s low shot. Mason Mount almost equalised late on, but his close range effort was blocked by Remi Matthews.

WHO’S THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE…

Andy Davies will be the man in the middle at Pride Park Stadium when the Rams take on the Trotters. He has refereed 31 fixtures this season, producing 106 yellow cards ad five straight red.

Davies has officiated one game involving the Rams this season, the 2-0 defeat to Leeds United at Elland Road.

Davies will be assisted by Timothy Wood and Mark Dwyer on the lines, whilst Christopher Sarginson has been appointed as the fourth official.
