There aren’t many bigger games in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend than Derby County’s clash with Bristol City.

Both sides are challenging for sixth position and a place in the play-offs as the season draws to a close.

The Rams sit one point ahead of Bristol City, and both teams have a game in hand on Middlesbrough who sit in seventh position.

Frank Lampard's side have the advantage heading into the game, but midfielder Mason Mount knows Derby will need to be at their best to give theemlseves every chance to try and ensure that they travel back to the East Midlands with all three points.

“It’s a massive game,” he told RamsTV. “We all know how big it is and we need to go their and win the game. We are in the play-offs at the moment and we need to stay there so we need to put that pressure on ourselves to go there and get the result.

“We just need to focus on ourselves. Whatever happens in the league with the other teams and how their results go is not in our hands.

“What we have to try and control is our performance and how we go in to the game and get ready for it. That’s what we can control, and we are going in to the game to win it.

“It’s going to be a tough game; we know they are a tough side. They are so close to us so it is a massive game and the three points are massive.

“They are going to be really up for it, all the fans and all the players. It is going to be exactly the same for us, our fans are going to be right behind us. We are ready for the game and we are really looking forward to it.”
