Derby County youngster Max Bird has been nominated for LFE’s Goal of the Month for April for his strike against West Bromwich Albion.

The EFL’s Apprentice of the Year netted the second goal in the 5-0 victory over the Baggies with a wonderful curling effort from the edge of the box into the far top corner after being set up by Connor Dixon.

The victory was the tenth straight for the Derby County Under-18s in the league, leading them to become the 2018/19 Under-18 Premier League Champions.

He is one of eight apprentices from across the Academy leagues to be nominated.

You can vote online or on Twitter using the hashtag #LFEGOALA for Bird’s goal. Voting will remain open until noon on 17th May.
