Derby County’s 2018/19 campaign is one that won’t be forgotten any time soon.

The Rams’ first season under the management of Frank Lampard was rarely dull, with several incredible moments and victories along the way, as Derby reached the Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley.
Despite defeat against Aston Villa, it’s been an unforgettable ride and here, we take a look at some of the numbers behind a memorable year…

It’s been a remarkable breakthrough season for our 18-year-old right-back.
Jayden Bogle made his 50th appearance for Derby at Wembley against Aston Villa and he marked the occasion in typical style, by recording his ninth assist of the season for Jack Marriott’s strike in the 81st minute.
With nine assists, Bogle stands out as Derby’s most creative player in all competitions this season, with nobody recording more throughout the campaign.
He has also completed the most successful tackles (110) and the most successful dribbles (55), while his number of assists also makes him the most creative teenager in the division this season.

Richard Keogh was a key member of Lampard’s back-four throughout the campaign and after Curtis Davies’ injury at Stoke City in November, he took on the captaincy for the rest of the season.
Keogh is the only Championship player to have played in all 49 possible games this season, with no player matching his record of 4392 minutes played throughout the league campaign.
Remarkably, the experienced centre-back featured in all 57 games in all competitions this season, only missing 18 minutes of action in total, when he was substituted with an injury at Swansea City in May.

Alongside Keogh, Fikayo Tomori displayed remarkable consistency during his breakthrough season in English football, as he played 30+ games in a senior campaign for the first time, ending with 55 appearances in total.
Tomori only missed one game since arriving from Chelsea on loan in August - the 3-1 win against Birmingham City in November - and after coming on at half-time against Stoke City later that month, he started every remaining game in all competitions.
The 21-year-old displayed his superb physical and technical attributes throughout the campaign, with no Derby player making more interceptions (69) in the Championship this season.
Tomori is the first loanee to win Derby’s Player of the Year award.

Harry Wilson - and his wand of a left foot - made an incredible impact during his season-long loan spell from Liverpool.
With 18 goals in all competitions, Wilson finished as Derby’s top goalscorer in all competitions, with seven of his Championship strikes coming from outside the penalty area; the most of any player in the league.
Five of his strikes came from direct free-kicks, including *that* sensational hit at Old Trafford that helped the Rams to knock Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup in September.

Mason Mount made himself at home in the Derby midfield from his very first game, when he scored the equaliser against Reading at the Madejski Stadium in August.
Normally operating from a left-sided midfield position, Mount completed 71 key passes in the Championship, more than any other Derby player this season.
Mount went on to score 11 goals and record five assists in all competitions, but it was his big-game prowess that caught the eye, especially at Elland Road in May.
His goal against Leeds United was his sixth goal in six play-off ties during his career and with his ability and mentality, the 19-year-old is surely set to go right to the top.

Derby’s record from the penalty spot this season was incredible.
The Rams took 19 spot-kicks in all competitions during the 2018/19 campaign, and scored every single one of them.
Eight were converted at Old Trafford in September as José Mourinho’s side were beaten, while five found the net against Southampton as another Premier League side were dispatched on penalties in the FA Cup.
Wilson and Martyn Waghorn scored three each in the league, with Wilson’s tally including high-pressure moments against QPR, West Brom and Leeds.
