Derby County Under-23s’ Premier League 2 Division 1 fixtures have been confirmed.


Darren Wassall’s side will be in the top division for the fourth consecutive season and will look to build on their best finish last season in the upcoming campaign.

The Under-23s will kick-off their season under the lights at Pride Park Stadium when they take on Chelsea on Monday 12th August, kick-off 7pm.

That will be the first of five fixtures at Pride Park scheduled for the Under-23s with their next three home fixtures there as well as their final home clash which will come against Liverpool on Friday 17th April.

Derby, who are one of just two Championship sides in the top division, will make the long trip to face newly promoted Southampton in their first away trip of the season on Monday 19th August.

Their campaign will end on the road at the Academy Stadium when they take on Manchester City on Friday 1st May.
