Macdonald Makes Blackpool Move

Derby County Under-23s defender Calum Macdonald has joined Sky Bet League 1 side Blackpool.

The 21-year-old left-back, capped by Scotland at Under-21 level, has joined the Seasiders on a permanent basis.

Macdonald came through the Rams’ Academy set-up and while he didn’t make a first-team appearance, he was an unused substitute on a number of occasions.

During the 2017/18 campaign, Macdonald had a spell on loan with non-league side Barrow where he scored once in 21 appearances.
