Derby County full-back Max Lowe is determined to help turn the side’s fortunes away from home around as the Rams travel to the capital to take on Fulham tomorrow evening (7:45pm kick-off).

The left-back put in a Man of the Match display on Saturday as he helped the Rams record a valuable 1-0 win over high-flying Preston North End at Pride Park Stadium.

That extended Derby's winning run at Pride Park Stadium to five games, however, form away from home has been contrasting.

The Rams are yet to taste victory away from home in the league since the 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town on the opening night of the season.

Derby face Fulham on Tuesday night knowing a victory will put them in touching distance of the play-off spots and Lowe is determined to help the Rams improve their form on the road.

“It is annoying for us as it is for the fans,” he told RamsTV. “Every time we play at home, we are itching to get on the pitch and we want that feeling when we play away.

“Tomorrow is going to be massive for that and hopefully we can get a really good run.

“We have some tough fixtures coming up, but we are all confident that we can pick up points - so why not start by doing that tomorrow.

“They have got a strong squad at Fulham, but we believe our squad can match anybody’s.

“We have competition all over the pitch in positions so we are really confident in ourselves.”

Lowe returned to the starting XI for the game against Nottingham Forest before the November international break following the knee injury sustained to Scott Malone in the 2-0 home win over Middlesbrough.

This season has proven to be his most consistent yet in a Rams shirt, featuring 15 times for Phillip Cocu’s side so far.

“I am buzzing for it,” he admitted when looking ahead to the trip to Fulham. “It is an old school stadium and it is nice and tight, I like that sort of atmosphere.

“It is no secret that we need to start picking up points away from home so hopefully this can be the start.”
