Derby To Learn FA Cup Third Round Opponents Tonight

Derby County will discover their Emirates FA Cup Third Round opponents this evening (Monday 2nd December).

It will be broadcast live on BBC2 from 7pm on the evening and Derby will be ball number 15 in the draw.

The BBC’s presenter Mark Chapman will be hosting the draw with the balls being picked by former Manchester City defender Micah Richards and Arsenal legend Tony Adams.

The Third Round is scheduled for the weekend of 3/4/5/6 January 2020 with fixtures taking place between Friday and Monday.

Derby reached the Fifth Round of the competition last season and overcame Premier League Southampton at the Third Round stage.

After a 2-2 draw at Pride Park Stadium in the original tie the replay at St Mary’s Stadium also ended all-square with the same scoreline, with Derby eventually progressing on penalties.
