Derby And Northampton To Learn Potential FA Cup Fifth Round Opponents On Monday Night

Derby County and Northampton Town will discover who their potential opponents will be in the Fifth Round of the Emirates FA Cup on Monday evening (27th January) - with the Rams and the Cobblers allocated ball number SIX in the draw.

The two sides will do battle at Pride Park Stadium during the week commencing Monday 4th February in a Fourth Round replay after they played out at 0-0 draw at Northampton’s PTS Academy Stadium on Friday night.

This season's FA Cup Fifth Round will take place in midweek during the week commencing Monday 2nd March, with any ties that are level after 90 minutes progressing to extra time and, if necessary, penalties to determine a winner on the night.

The draw will be broadcast live on the Emirates FA Cup’s official Twitter account on Monday night, while it will also be shown live in the UK on BBC One's ‘The One Show’.

The draw, which will begin at 7:19pm (GMT), will be conducted by former England internationals and FA Cup winners Teddy Sheringham and Glen Johnson.
