Derby County Under-19s will continue their European adventure when they take on Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Youth League Knock-out stage at Pride Park Stadium this afternoon (Tuesday 11th February, 1pm kick-off).

The Rams have been drawn against the German side with a place in the Round of 16 waiting at the other side of the one-legged tie.

Justin Walker’s side booked their place in this stage of the competition following convincing wins over Belarusian side FC Minsk and Icelandic side IA Akranes. A 9-2 aggregate victory over Minsk in October was followed up with a 6-2 aggregate win over IA Akranes in November.

Dortmund finished second in Group F behind Inter Milan and qualified for this stage through the UEFA Champions League pathway. They picked up 12 points from their six games and finished ahead of Slavia Prague and Barcelona.

Morgan Whittaker currently tops the UEFA Youth League scoring charts with five goals, alongside Tottenham Hotspur’s Troy Parrott.

The fixture is FREE to attend and is the perfect opportunity to watch the young Rams in action as they look to continue to make club history!
