In line with the government’s advice as announced on 16th March in relation to social distancing and avoiding mass gatherings, Derby County Community Trust are suspending the vast majority of our delivery with immediate effect.
We will continue to deliver our Education and in-school projects whilst advice supports this and schools remain open.
This means that all projects currently running outside school provision will cease delivery from 17th March in addition to all sessions to vulnerable groups which were suspended on Friday 13th March.
We aim to communicate thoroughly and effectively across this period and hope to reinstate sessions as soon as advice allows us to.
Our duty of care remains paramount to this situation and we are acting pro-actively with this interest in mind, providing alternative means of contact and support to our vulnerable groups.
Sessions ceasing delivery from 17th March are:
Schools Events (those due to take place in external venues)
Holiday Coaching (Easter bookings will be refunded accordingly)
Workshops (including Mental Health First Aid)
Community Engagement sessions
Get Set to Go
RTC (training and fixtures)
Pan-disability sessions (Ability Counts and Shooters)
Cerebral Palsy squads
Talent Hub squads (Cerebral Palsy, Visually Impaired and Deaf squads)
Enrichment Exercise (including Active Minds)
Wellbeing For All
Extra Time Hub
Pre and Post Natal
We are assessing the status of all other sessions and advise all participants to follow government guidelines.
All leagues in which we participate are currently suspended.
All programmes which are not on the list above are running as scheduled but we reiterate that we advise all participants to be sensible, cautious and follow government and NHS guidelines.
