Derby County Under-23s goalkeeper Josh Barnes has extended his loan spell at Vanarama National League North outfit Farsley Celtic.


The 22-year-old shot-stopper linked up with Adam Lakeland’s side on initial month-long loan deal at the end of January, but this has now been extended until the end of the campaign after impressing in his three appearances so far.

Barnes has made one appearance for Derby’s Under-23s this season in Premier League 2 - Division 1 but has also been an unused substitute on several occasions.

The custodian has gained experience in recent seasons during loan spells at Mickleover Sports, Bedworth United and Eastleigh.
