Bryson Scores The Only Goal Of The Game In Derby’s Last Win At Forest In 2012

Pictured here is former Derby County midfielder Craig Bryson celebrating his goal in the Rams’ 1-0 win at local rivals Nottingham Forest during the 2012/13 season.

Bryson tapped in the winner as Derby took advantage of Forest striker Dexter Blackstock's red card just seconds after half time.

The popular Scotsman celebrated his goal in the back of the net in front of the large following of travelling Derby supporters.

Forest were denied a late equaliser when Derby goalkeeper Frank Fielding pushed away Simon Gillett's low drive.

The victory across the East Midlands was the Rams’ last at the City Ground to date.

Under manager Nigel Clough, the Rams finished the 2012/13 campaign in 10th place in the Sky Bet Championship.

Bryson made 276 appearances and scored 42 goals during eight years with Derby between 2011 and 2019.
