Derby County forward Tom Lawrence has been called up to the Wales national squad for their upcoming international matches.

It is the first time Lawrence has been called up to the Welsh squad since October 2019, whilst his last appearance for the Red Dragons was in a 2-1 victory over Azerbaijan in June 2019.

Wales will have three fixtures during this international period, including a friendly and two crucial UEFA Nations League fixtures.

They face the United States of America on Thursday 12th November (7:45pm kick off) at the Liberty Stadium, whilst their two UEFA Nations League fixtures take place at the Cardiff City Stadium.

On Sunday 15th November, they face Stephen Kenny’s Republic of Ireland (5pm kick-off), whilst three days later, on Wednesday 18th November (7:45pm kick off), they face Finland.

Wales are currently in the driving seat ahead of the final round of fixtures, having picked up 10 points from their four games, and two wins would secure their promotion to League A.

Lawrence has won 20 caps in total for Wales and has scored three goals.
